Puppeteers
The ideal cast member will have some experience of puppetering glove and rod puppets in a theatre environment (some training will be given). Puppeteers must be prepared to set their own props and puppets before and during performances and also assist the Stage Manager with the get-in and get-out of the theatre set.
Costume Character Performers
The ideal cast member will have some experience of performing as a skin character in a theatre environment (some training will be given). Performers must be prepared to set their own props before and during performances and also assist the Stage Manager with the get-in and get-out of the theatre set.
Actresses / Merchandisers
The ideal cast member will be able to play a female character in her early to mid twenties and have some experience of performing Musical Theatre style cameo roles. Performers must be prepared to sell show merchandise before / after each performance and during the interval and be responsible for cashing up the till (full training will be given). We welcome applications from recent college graduates.
Stage Managers
The ideal cast member will have some experience of touring mid-scale theatre productions. Candidates should be proficient in fitting up a theatre set, a basic
sound rig (radio mic, minidisk, desk), straightforward FX machines (pyrotechnics, smoke and snow) and be confident in firing sound cues and calling LX cues (training will be given). A full driving license is essential as Stage Managers are provided with a van for travelling to and from tour venues.
All cast members should be available to work on all tour dates throughout the spring tour periods. JB Entertainment & Events pay cast members a weekly inclusive fee throughout tour periods. Cast accommodation and travel is also provided and paid for.
